The Best Concert/Holiday Ever...

In 2019 I went to WYD in Panama, it is a meeting of young Catholics, where people from all over the world go, we prepared for a long time. We were 12 students and 3 teachers.

The first week we stayed in a school in a town called Cuipo, the people taught us about their culture, I went to concerts, I went to a lake, we went to an iguana sanctuary and a coffee plantation, the last days I stayed in the house of a beautiful family who opened the doors of their house to sleep comfortable. 

The second week we went to Panama City, slept in a university, exchanged presents with people from different places, went to expositions, had the opportunity to have one of our partners baptized in that city with a very significant ceremony for all of us, went to a meeting with the pope and camped in a park. 

The last 3 days when WYD was over we went to a beach called Portobelo, we snorkeled, kayaked and they took us to see a very beautiful island. 

It was a beautiful experience, my heart is full of unforgettable memories, I hope someday to be able to visit that place again and to be able to continue participating in the next WYD.

When I was little I wanted to be different things, I remember I wanted to be a doctor, but when I got to middle school it didn't call my attention, but architecture did, I loved to think about the things that could be done, I never thought I would study it, it was a very distant dream, at that time I started reading about psychology, I liked it a lot, so I thought I would study it, but I thought if I saw myself working in it, I realized that no, I liked reading it and until now I still like it, but I don't see myself working in something like that. I started to look for careers of my interest, I really like social sciences and art, so among my options were political science, public administration or design, I saw the pros and cons and I chose public administration.   Already in third and fourth I said I was going to study public administration, then at school they began to take us to university fairs, there I asked for all the careers I mentioned before, including architecture...

BLOG 6 - Postgraduates Studies

Actually I have not really thought much about doing a postgraduate degree, at least not for the moment, in a way I think I see it as something still far away, maybe because I still have a couple of years to finish my undergraduate degree.  I have always considered the postgraduate as something to be able to specialize in something or to be able to somehow update the knowledge that we acquired when studying the career, it is like a kind of complement to what you were taught previously.   That is why I think that the right time to do a postgraduate degree would be some time after having studied the career, after having acquired some experience in the career, to be able to complement what you will learn in this, I think that in a way if you study immediately after finishing the career, although it will look good on the resume, what good will it do if you do not know how to put into practice everything you have learned. Besides, this way you can earn some money before you continue...
